Located in the center of Cal Poly's Leaning Pine Arboretum, this pavilion serves as a gateway into nature. The form and shape are derived from the meandering paths throughout the arboretum, and the pavilion brings the user through a moment of compression and release, opening up to views of San Luis Obispo's hills. The structure features a semi-enclosed office and storage space for staff, and creates a stage setting for outdoor classes and labs.
